Jederzeit, unbefristet, unter der Woche öfter bei unseren Kunden, am Freitag typischerweise in unseren Büros in München, Köln oder Hamburg

Was gibt es zu tun?

Als Project Manager gestaltest du Veränderung, durchdringst Prozesse und erzielst nachhaltige Verbesserungen beim Kunden
Du leitest und steuerst anspruchsvolle Beratungsprojekte, von der Konzeption bis zur Umsetzung, im Bereich Operational Excellence, insbesondere in der produzierenden Industrie (z. B. Maschinen- und Anlagenbau, Automotive)
Du analysierst Wertschöpfungsketten und Geschäftsprozesse, um Effizienzpotenziale zu identifizieren
Darauf aufbauend entwickelst du maßgeschneiderte Verbesserungskonzepte unter Anwendung von Lean, Six Sigma, TPM oder ähnlichen Methoden
Du übernimmst eine aktive Rolle im Aufbau langfristiger Kundenbeziehungen und unterstützt bei der Geschäftsentwicklung
Du führst Projektteams und arbeitest eng mit internen wie externen Stakeholdern zusammen
Du hast Lust, auch über den Tellerrand hinauszuschauen und an fachlichen Themen in angrenzenden Bereichen mitzuwirken – z. B. in Strategie, Supply Chain Management oder Procurement
Du trägst dazu bei, unser Profil als führende Beratung für Operations-Themen weiter zu schärfen, insbesondere in Schlüsselindustrien wie Automotive, Industrial Goods und Defence & Aviation

Was bringst du mit?

Ein abgeschlossenes Masterstudium an einer namhaften Universität oder noch besser: einen MBA oder Promotion
Mind. 6 Jahre Berufs- bzw. Beratungserfahrung bei einer Managementberatung
Fundierte Erfahrung in der Leitung großer, komplexer Projekte im Bereich Operations in Führungs- und Projektverantwortung
Ein tiefes Verständnis von Operations Prozessen aus verschiedenen Unternehmen und Branchen, ergänzt um Erfahrung in der Produktions-Footprint-Optimierung und Digitalisierung
Branchenexpertise idealerweise in Automotive, Industrial Goods oder Defence & Aviation
Du sprichst fließend Deutsch, Englisch und vielleicht dazu noch eine weitere Fremdsprache

(SENIOR) PROJECT MANAGER OPERATIONS

at any time, permanent contract, during the week often on site with our customers, on Friday typically in our offices in Munich, Cologne or Hamburg

Your mission

As a Project Manager, you drive change, deeply understand processes, and deliver sustainable improvements for our clients
You lead and manage demanding consulting projects from concept to implementation, with a focus on Operational Excellence, especially in the manufacturing industry (e.g. machinery, equipment, automotive)
You analyze value chains and business processes to identify efficiency potentials
Based on your findings, you develop tailored improvement concepts using Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar methodologies
You take an active role in building long-term client relationships and support business development efforts
You lead project teams and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders
You are eager to look beyond your core responsibilities and contribute to topics in related areas – e.g. strategy, supply chain management, or procurement
You help strengthen our profile as a leading consultancy in operations-related topics, particularly in key industries like automotive, industrial goods, and defence & aviation

Your profile

A Master's degree from a reputable university or even better: an MBA or doctorate
At least 6 years of professional or consulting experience with a management consultancy
Sound experience in managing large, complex projects in the field of operations with management and project responsibility
A deep understanding of operations processes from various companies and industries, complemented by experience in production footprint optimisation and digitalisation
Industry expertise ideally in Automotive, Industrial Goods or Defence & Aviation
You are fluent in German, English and perhaps another foreign language
